PUBLISHED ON Jun 06, 2006
New: 8000 Series I/O
8000 Series I/O is a new line of HART® capable Ethernet I/O for new installations or to replace existing NovaTech Automation I/O without modification to the existing field wiring. This allows D/3 installations to upgrade their older I/O hardware to the latest electronics with a minimum of downtime and very low process risk preserving a user’s investment in their control system and control applications.
Will allow D/3® users to upgrade their D/3 systems without interrupting the process they control. Online upgrades will eliminate downtime for system upgrades, allow easy integration of the latest software and firmware, provide access to the latest D/3 features, and is only available on the D/3 PAS. NovaTech Automation engineers have upgraded several customer processes in safe states and are refining the D/3 online upgrade capability. The first online upgrade of a plant without process interruption is scheduled for June.
