Advanced Orion Math and Logic Option (#99)

Expanding on the capabilities of existing math and logic options for the Orion Automation Platform, NovaTech Automation is proud to introduce the Advanced Orion Math and Logic option for OrionLX, built on the lightweight and robust Lua programming language.
The Advanced Orion Math and Logic option is one of four logic options now available in the OrionLX.
The new option includes the ability to incorporate data from Orion PostgreSQL databases into logic schemes and execute those schemes up to 100x faster while reducing the CPU burden from 11% to <1% in typical applications.
Other features include:
• Ability to handle file I/O (open/read/write/close)
• Ability to retrieve .CSV files up to thousands of points in an array
• Support for threading, string manipulation, regular expressions and pattern matching
• Real-time poll modification
Advanced Orion Math and Logic (new option #99) is mutually exclusive with the existing Orion Math and Logic (option #83); NCD programs must use one or the other. A migration tool is available to convert Orion Math and Logic option to Advanced Orion Math and Logic.
