NovaTech Automation Modernizes Major Export Grain Loadout Facility

QUAKERTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA (December 6, 2017) – Global automation supplier, NovaTech Automation, LLC, announced that it has installed a fully integrated automation system at one of the largest grain loadout facilities on the U.S. West Coast. The facility is a rail receiving to ship loading system that processes corn, soybeans, and wheat.
The NovaTech Automation D/3® Distributed Control System is being employed to fully integrate multiple systems within the facility into a common HMI (Human Machine Interface) platform.
“Our automation solutions for grain export can be found in many of the largest and most complex loadout facilities in the world,” said NovaTech Automation CEO Volker Oakey. “Customers rely on NovaTech Automation’s D/3 to avoid data integrity issues, unnecessary downtime and costs due to rework, unexpected system outages, and slow recovery from equipment failure.”
